Anatomical Bridle with Pressure-Relieving Design

We donate 5% of the profits from this bridle to World Horse Welfare, helping vulnerable horses around the world (Registered Charity Nos. 206658 and SC038384).

Noseband

The noseband has been specially designed to minimise external pressure on the horse’s teeth and sensitive facial nerves.

Its innovative design combines the functions of a traditional English cavesson noseband and a flash noseband, providing enhanced stability while maintaining an elegant appearance.

The curved anatomical shape provides clearance around the cheekbones and sensitive nerve pathways, helping to reduce unwanted pressure and improve comfort.

The upper noseband strap features a pullback fastening, ensuring that the padding underneath remains centred for even pressure distribution.

Headpiece

The area behind a horse’s ears is particularly sensitive, containing numerous nerves and ligaments.

To help relieve pressure in this area, we have developed an extra-wide, anatomically shaped headpiece.

A specially designed cut-out along the top helps distribute pressure evenly rather than concentrating it in one area.

The headpiece is also carefully shaped to provide generous space around the ears, promoting comfort and freedom of movement.

Cheekpieces

Our cheekpieces have been specially developed to reduce pressure on the poll through our innovative elastic Vagga™ system.

The Vagga system consists of an additional elastic strap that supports the bit. This elastic feature is incorporated into the cheekpieces near the bit and is also available on our reins.

The system is designed to create a gentle spring-like action, allowing the bit to move more naturally and helping relieve constant pressure on the teeth and bars of the horse’s mouth.

Many riders report that their horses appear more comfortable with this type of bridle, making it a potentially gentler and more horse-friendly alternative to traditional bridles and reins.

The bridle features elegant rounded stitching and detachable Vagga attachments, allowing them to be easily disconnected for dressage competitions.

Browband

The U-shaped browband is designed to minimise pressure around the horse’s forehead and eye sockets.

All our browbands feature a rubber-coated anti-slip lining, helping to keep them securely in place and preventing them from sliding down.

The browband also incorporates our popular Click-It™ system, allowing you to quickly and easily remove or change it, even while your horse is wearing the bridle.

Competition

The bridle is described as approved for competition across all disciplines in Sweden and under FEI regulations.

For dressage competitions, a separate throatlash may be required, and the Vagga elastic attachments must be disconnected.
